Many of us like to go for a beach holiday over the summer, looking for some nice food, hot weather, time to relax and a bit of sightseeing. But how do you choose where to go – do you keep returning to the same resort or try somewhere new each year? We thought we’d take a look at both approaches.
Familiar
For some people, the last thing they want on holiday is to have to spend time getting to know the local area – if you’re familiar with a resort, you’ll know the restaurants you like, the layout of the town and the things to see and do in the area – as well as the best spot to get on the beach! If your holiday is purely for relaxing and you’ve found your perfect resort, why go anywhere else!
Somewhere new
Having a bit of an adventure and exploring somewhere new is one of the enjoyable aspects of a holiday for many and trying out a new resort, city or country each time means there’s always something to discover. We don’t always manage to pick the best restaurants or the most interesting attractions but trying things out and experimenting a little is all part of it.
We’re a bit undecided and think our favourite kind of holiday is a mix of the two – some familiarity with places to explore too. But maybe we just haven’t found our perfect resort yet. Have you found yours? Let us know!

we go to llandudno at least 5 time's a year to the same hotel where we feel so welcome the craig-ard a breakfast you can't beat. we have made many friend's there we love the pier the great orme the welsh mountain zoo.we just love wale's the view's are wonderful.
We love Malaysia, particularly Langkawi. We also like the relative peace and tranquility of the East coast around Terregannu.
If we were to choose a favourite city, it would be Singapore and of course, KL.
