Simon Bates live from the top of the O2

It’s not every day that you get to broadcast outside the studio and it’s especially special when you’re suspended 52m above ground level!

That’s right - Simon Bates has joined 007 on the list of celebrities who have braved the O2 Arena’s roof. Simon had to walk along a 190m long fabric walkway suspended between The O2’s distinctive yellow masts before he got to the observation platform, from where he broadcast his show.
