Warhorse

Following my recent (teary) visit to the theatre to see Warhorse, the play, I joined the rest of the family to go along to see the movie version. I thought that as I had survived the play, I'd be hardened enough to get through the film without weeping. How wrong I was! It still brought on the soft, sentimental side of me and I ended up passing tissues around to other like-minded softies in the audience as the closing credits rolled. Thankfully, the projectionist left the lights down until we recovered from seeing this remarkable story and were able to leave the cinema with dry (but still reddened) eyes.

The current cold snap has once again brought out my bright green ski jacket which caused so much hilarity in the office a few weeks ago. Laugh they all may, but I bet I'm warmer than most of my mates.

I'm currently loving the wonderful smell of fresh bread in the office as a result of Simon Bates and Producer Seb investing in a bread maker. It's like working in a bakery at Smooth HQ as a result, so I hope they'll maintain their baking for some considerable time!

What is 'Join the Conversation' on some of the pages & where are they all displayed?
THANKYOU David I read your original blog about seeing Warhorse, the play, and took your advice about tissues when going to see the film. Funny how so many people kept their heads down on leaving, me included.
Sounds wonderful having a bakery in the office, do you get a share of the produce? Don't be too tempted though 'cos if you're still trying to lose weight bread is very fattening (especially warm with butter)!
Glad to hear you're sticking with the jacket, it looks great, really suits your colouring. Be an original don't follow the herd.
