Smooth Radio favourite Paloma Faith has confirmed the release of her new single, 'Never Tear Us Apart'.

The single will be released on September 23 and was originally a hit for INXS in 1988. Fast forward to 2012 and it has been recorded by Faith for a new John Lewis advertising campaign.

The single's artwork shows Faith saluting, while dressed in a metallic golden dress with a honeycomb-like bottom half.

Speaking of the track, Faith said: "I have always loved this song and I feel honoured to sing it".

'Never Tear Us Apart' will be included on a re-packaged version of Faith's second studio album 'Fall to Grace', which will be released on October 22.

The eccentric singer is set to hit the road with a headline tour across the UK and Ireland to support the album, starting in Dublin on January 21.
